The Zoo (National zoological park) (originally Delhi ) is a 176- acre (71 ha) situated near old fort in new Delhi. it was inaugurated 1st November 1956 with the vision of becoming a model of other zoos in India. The Zoo(National zoological park) is home to about 1350 animals and birds from around the world. Here the animals are provided the kind environment which is close to their natural habitat.
